Master selection before advanced editing

Test one copied block away from the finished build. Change one field, observe the result, and restore it before testing the next. A visually invisible block may still interact, and a non-colliding setting does not necessarily make a part immune to every stage hazard.

Bind moving parts and controls carefully
Binding and mechanical setup should connect a known input to one known device before duplication. Place the fixed mount, moving part, and control where their relationship is visible. Activate at low power or limited range and watch which direction the system travels.
Label paired components with paint. If a wheel, piston, hinge, switch, or other supported part responds backward, correct that isolated module before covering it with armor. Reinforce the mount without placing a block across the gap that needs to move.
